After recently divorcing his co-star on the television show Vanderpump Rules, Katie Maloney, Schwartz stated that he still has a lot to learn about living alone.

The 39-year-old said to Page Six at the opening of Schwartz & Sandy's, "I'm sort of relearning how to be single, which is odd."

He hasn't even had time to be single, said Tom Sandoval, Schwartz's co-star and business partner, referring to Schwartz's current primary priority, their bar's opening.

The journey to single life has started since Maloney, 35, filed for divorce in March. She was also the first on Instagram to announce the couple's breakup.

"After 12 years of adventuresome life travel together, Tom and I are getting divorced. This conclusion leaves no room for resentment or picking sides.

We cherish our relationship and will always respect one another deeply "She then said something.

She said, "We shall continue to love and promote one another's happiness even when our paths may separate." I appreciate all of the encouragement and kind words.

Schwartz, 39, who addressed the breakup in his own statement, claimed that Maloney made the decision to stop the relationship.

I wholeheartedly agree with Katie's decision, and we've had honest, fruitful discussions about it.

We experienced some of the most delightful, romantic, and enjoyable moments that are humanly possible throughout our relationship, he continued.

If she choose to stay with me while being unhappy, it would be far more tragic.

Despite getting divorced, the two Bravolebrities are getting along.

According to a statement Schwartz issued to Entertainment Tonight, there is no animosity between the former couples.

"Everyone hates going through a divorce, so it was actually pretty terrible.

But I believe that our divorce was among the most amicable ever "He went on. My wonderful friendship with you is still going strong.

Schwartz continued: "I won't deny that it was challenging at first, but our relationship has persisted; we continue to text and call each other, and

we share custody of the dogs. It's pretty decent. There isn't even a trace of unease, discomfort, or hostility."
