We're sorry to have to break the news to you, but Simu Liu appears to be no longer available.

The "Kim's Convenience" actor made his red carpet debut alongside his rumoured girlfriend,

"Senior Year" star Jade Bender, at the ESPY Awards in Los Angeles on July 20.

The couple posed for pictures together subtly and without PDA before going into the Dolby Theatre,

where Liu presented on stage alongside the skier Lindsey Vonn.

Liu, 33, wore a textured blue suit to the awards ceremony, while Bender, 24, looked elegant in a sparkly one-shoulder minidress.

Regarding Liu and Bender's relationship, there have been contradicting rumours throughout the past month.

They were observed leaving Catch LA after dinner on June 19. The following week,

Bender accompanied Liu to his appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live," where he spoke about his new book, "We Were Dreamers,"

with special guest Chelsea Handler. Additionally, their Instagram accounts contain the following hints:

Liu recently commented on Bender's blog postings, and they both shared images from what might have been a

joint trip to the Bahamas at the end of June. They were first spotted together at the 2019 Unforgettable Gala,

an annual award ceremony honouring Asian American and Pacific Islander media talent,

even though it's unknown how they met. They had been pals for a long. Both parties have kept their on-going romance a secret.

Liu is now juggling a full schedule. In addition to the sci-fi thriller "Hello Stranger,"

the action feature "Arthur the King," and the untitled sequel to Marvel's "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings,"

he recently finished production for Greta Gerwig's "Barbie" film. Bender most recently starred alongside Rebel Wilson,

Sam Richardson, Justin Hartley, and others in the Netflix original movie "Senior Year."
