You have 30 minutes on a Thursday to get from work to home, pick up Heath, drop Jamie off at basketball practise, and what about dinner?

Are you familiar with this circumstance? If you are a working mother, I can guarantee you that it will be a common occurrence.

How can you chose nutrient-dense foods when you only have fifteen minutes to make your meals? The first thing you need to understand is that eating a healthy diet

does not necessarily require two hours of mealtimes. You have the same amount of time to prepare or pick up healthful foods as you do unhealthy ones.

Even while sub sandwiches are a healthier option than pizza or burgers and fries, they don't really take any longer to prepare.

Salads satisfy the daily need for veggies and are quick and simple to prepare. You don't like the typical salad. You may change things up

a little bit while still providing a healthy alternative by making a fruit or Waldorf salad. Regarding the dressing,

vinegar- or oil-based dressings are both far more tasty and significantly healthier for you than cream-based ones.

Let's assume that your kids dislike salads. What about alternative ready-to-eat meals that are similarly healthy meals?

Healthy Choice is a brand of frozen dinners and dishes that are quick and simple to reheat in the microwave. Generally speaking,

baking is preferred to frying, and many stores now provide freshly baked items that are prepared for consumption.

Do you still feel unfulfilled? You require a place where you can go and actually sit down to eat. There are still many healthy options accessible for families dining out.

Buffet-style restaurants are fantastic choices. Buffets now provide baked, grilled, and fresh food alternatives in large part due to the number of health-conscious clients out there.

Fresh fruits and vegetables are typically provided on food bars alongside grilled or boiled vegetables. The selection of meat selections is nearly as diverse,

and many can be found both fried and baked. If you're in the mood for dessert, watermelons and grapes are just as full as the Boston cream pie.

You can always argue against eating properly, but the most important thing to remember is that your body will suffer. Or your children,

who will suffer because of your bad choices. Why not set a good example by making healthy choices yourself? Doing so will help your children develop into savvy, health-conscious eaters.

Okay, let's return to our Thursday afternoon juggling demonstration. You have just fifteen minutes to select what to serve for supper after Heath and Jamie have been

dropped off at baseball practise and picked up from basketball practise, respectively. As you stand at the red light evaluating your alternatives, you can find a Subway,

a Pizza Hut, and a grocery store with a deli in the same shopping centre. How is it that making this choice is still difficult?
