Network marketing will always be around. Regardless of whether you actually believe it or not, you need to give yourself a reality check right now. The “corporate” way of doing business is quickly going extinct. When you think that your current employment, contract work, or other sources of income will continue to support you for the rest of your life, it’s time to realise that there is a new and better method to do business and that you must educate yourself in the new strategies if you want to live.
Corporate-type companies, such as the one you may currently work for, have realised that there are more economical and efficient ways to sell their products and services. Of course, network marketing is one way to go about it.
Although most people are familiar of network marketing, here is a brief introduction for those who aren’t:
In network marketing, a business will offer you its products at wholesale costs so you can resell them at retail prices and pocket the profit generated by the price difference. In addition, if you bring someone to a lucrative opportunity and they choose to take advantage of it, you get a cut of the money they earn. They share the information with a second participant in the chat, who then shares it with a third participant, and so on.
The best part is that, depending on the firm you choose to work with, you can receive a portion of the action for each level that joins down to as many as EIGHT levels. To put it another way, you get to benefit from both your own labour and the labour of up to eight other people.
Being improved You ultimately receive a portion of the profits from everyone that those 8 people bring to the business because they all bring other people with them! Eventually, you might be gaining from the labour of literally tens of thousands of individuals both financially and in other ways. Pretty amazing of a deal, no? So what’s the catch?
However, if you work for the right company, there actually isn’t one. However, defining “right” is at best a matter of opinion, so if you want to make an informed decision about whether or not to take part in this type of extreme money-making opportunity, you need to discover more about the specifics of how your chosen organisation will be distributing its goods or services.
This is where nearly every network marketing company out there differs considerably from one another, with one exceptionally unique exception that you will learn about shortly. Let’s start with an example.
One of the best meals of your life are had at a restaurant in the city. You can’t stop raving about how wonderful supper was to anybody who would listen, and you always give the restaurant your highest recommendation. Right now, you work as a network marketer.
But would any of those people have known about that restaurant if you hadn’t notified them? They might have heard about it sooner or later, but because you couldn’t stop talking about it for days, they probably wouldn’t have. Network marketing, but you’re not getting paid for it.
Now let’s look at a case study with “Access Marketing.” The same restaurant has worked diligently to create a feeling of community around its presence in the city. They have employees that praise the eatery to guests all day long. When they appear on the news and conduct an interview with everyone’s favourite reporter for the 6 o’clock news, they quickly earn credibility. They offer free food samples and support a local charity event.
This restaurant has successfully raised the general public’s knowledge of its brand. Most people have heard of it even if not everyone has eaten there.
In the present, the same restaurant hires a group of network marketers and provides the marketers with a substantial meal discount in exchange for their recommendations of the restaurant to others.
Then, the network marketers inquire if anyone in the area has ever heard of a specific restaurant. You should go there and eat. Locals claim to have heard of the restaurant as a result of the restaurant’s earlier marketing efforts and would love to go there for a dinner. When the consumers the network marketers referred to the restaurant come in for a meal, the restaurant now pays the network marketers for the referrals!
So how is access marketing different from network marketing? In network marketing, your goal is to persuade people to utilise products or services that, if they have heard of them at all, they typically aren’t familiar with the company that provides them. Using products or services that people have heard of and about which they have also heard excellent things is what access marketing advocates. Do you see the difference?
In other words, the company that uses access marketing promotes YOU. All you have to do is encourage people to use those products or services and arrange for them to do so, and the company will compensate you for your job – usually generously.
After that, go back to the beginning of this article where you learned that the only way to secure your future is to study the ins and outs of network marketing. That is a true statement. Now choose whether you want to deal with a company that relies on YOU to do the advertising or one that does it for you. Everyone should be aware of it, right?
What if the same company paid you up to 8 levels deep as opposed to the 5 levels most other companies in the industry pay? What if the same company also provided a Global Bonus Pool, allowing you to essentially be reimbursed for the job done by people all around the world? What if the same company cared more about who you were as a person than how much business you brought in?
