At Comic-Con on Saturday in San Diego, Marvel Studios unveiled the first trailer for "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever." "No Woman No Cry" is the music playing in the trailer.
It was only a small portion of the enormous Hall H presentation, which also included first looks at
"Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3," "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania," and brand-new information about Phase 6 of
the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which will be finished with the release of "Avengers: The Kang Dynasty" and "Avengers: Secret Wars" in 2025.
"Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" director Ryan Coogler was present in San Diego to preview the much anticipated film,
which will wrap up Phase 4 and hit theatres on November 11. Coogler honoured Chadwick Boseman, who passed away in August 2020.
He had an effect on the industry that "will be felt forever," according to Coogler.
After "Black Panther's" huge success in 2018, preparations for a sequel were quickly started.
Following Boseman's unexpected death from colon cancer, those were altered. The production company claimed that
T'Challa, played by Chadwick Boseman, would not be changed. But very little information about the movie has surfaced through time.
T'Challa's intellectual sister Shuri is portrayed by Letitia Wright, who sustained an accident while filming.
This setback finally resulted in the production's conclusion in March. Danai Gurira, Winston Duke, Angela Bassett, and
Lupita Nyong'o will also return, however Daniel Kaluuya's "Nope" schedule will prohibit him from doing so.
Phase 5 will begin in February with "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania" and end in July 2024 with "Thunderbolts,"
according to Kevin Feige, the president of Marvel Studios. Release dates for the reinvented versions of "Blade,"
starring Oscar winner Mahershala Ali, and "Captain America and the New World Order,"
starring Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson, have been set for May 3, 2024 and November 3, 2023, respectively.
In May, The "Guardians of the Galaxy" will also be completed in the middle of Phase 5.
For the movie, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillian, and Dave Bautista are all coming back.
Maria Bakalova and Will Poulter, who plays the Guardians' enemy Adam Warlock, are new cast members.
Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Jonathan Majors, and Peyton Reed travelled to San Diego to see the debut of "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania" video.
Phase 6 will begin with a new "Fantastic Four" film on November 8, 2024, and conclude with "Avengers: The Kang Dynasty" on May 2, 2025.
"Avengers: Secret Wars" will then be released on November 7, 2025, after which "Avengers: The Kang Dynasty" will take its place.
The initial trailers for Marvel's Disney+ original series were also released.
These include the "She-Hulk: Attorney at Law" and "Secret Invasion" half-hour comedies. It's likely that "Lokisecond" will debut its season next summer as well.
